What is Ignite Tampa Bay?
Ignite Tampa Bay is an evening of short presentations. At an event, you hear various passionate speakers talking about their favorite topics or projects for just 5 minutes each. The lineup of presenters for each event is unique.
Who should attend Ignite Tampa Bay?
Anyone who wants to hear new ideas should attend an Ignite Tampa Bay event. The presentations are informative and often quite humorous. It’s an opportunity to hear ideas and people from outside of your normal sphere of influence. By mixing it up, new and exciting things can happen.
Who is behind Ignite Tampa Bay?

Speakers and Presentations
How do you choose the speakers for each event?
Each presenter submits a proposal and the final lineup for each event is chosen by a selection committe who represent a variety of backgrounds in education, arts, business, technical, academic and health communities. The panelists meet in person to discuss all of the submissions and determine which, in their professional opinion, will make the best line-up.
How an I learn more about a topic or a presenter?
We schedule informal networking time during and after the event so you have time to connect with any of the evening’s speakers. Most speakers also provide their website, blog, email, and Twitter account information for follow up as well.

Where is Ignite Tampa Bay held?
We select different locations throughout the Tampa Bay area for Ignite events. You can see where the next event is scheduled on our Event Night Info page.
How can I get a ticket?
We sell most of the tickets for each event through our website. Some tickets are reserved for presenters and sponsors. For ticket details, see our Tickets page. For sponsorship information, see our Sponsors page.
Do you provide good directions to the event?
Yes, we do. Check out our Event Night Info page for detailed directions and maps to the current event location. When possible, we include alternative transportation information, also.
